power over ordinances subject to override by 2/3 of all members of

direction for up to 10 departments. Elected for a term of 4 years.

Business Administrator assists the Mayor in budget preparation.

3-16)

Administers purchasing and personnel systems.

May supervise administration of departments (subject to Mayor's
direction).

Serves
as liaison between the Mayor and the city department heads.

The
Administration Department includes the divisions of Personnel,
Budgeting, Purchasing, and Housing & Code Enforcement.

Note: On 9/11/07 City Council voted to modify
their work session meeting schedule on a trial basis. Beginning with the
10/02/07 meeting, Council work
sessions will begin at 5:00 pm, and will be held only on the 1st
& 3rd Tuesday of each month. There will be NO work session held on
the 2nd & 4th Tuesday. However, additional (special) council
meetings may be held when deemed necessary.
